SUNNYVALE, Calif., Oct. 6, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alpha and Omega Semiconductor Limited (AOS) (Nasdaq:AOSL), a designer, developer and global supplier of a broad range of power semiconductors, today announced the release of the AON7932, a high power density 30V PairFET™ in a small asymmetric dual (High-Side and Low-Side integrated MOSFETs) power DFN3x3 package. The new PairFET provides compact and high power density DC/DC solutions for networking point-of-load
(POL) converter, high performance servers, advanced notebooks, desktops, all-in-one PCs, and graphic cards applications.

The AON7932 is part of a broad AOS portfolio of advanced MOSFET technology in dual asymmetric DFN packages (DFN5x6 and DFN3x3) which provide designers a wide range of solutions with high level functionality and performance in a small footprint. The pin-out of PairFET DFN3x3 package is arranged so that the input is on one side and the output on the other to further simplify the layout and PCB space.

The AON7932 device is 100% Rg and UIS tested, compliant to RoHS directive 2002/95/EC and Halogen-Free according to IEC 61249-2-21.
